FIRST ANNUAL JASON LUCAS MEMORIAL GOLF OUTING

Whether you knew Jason Lucas personally or knew of him, you know that Jason lived a long and courageous life with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Jason had an overwhelming will to live and a smile on his face always, despite what his disability dealt him! Jason was a very special person who touched many lives in very silent ways. He was and remains a hero to a lot of people. He was an inspiration to his parents, his sister and brother(s) in-law, nephews, cousins, his physicians, nurses and many more. From the words of an MDA Ambassador "When you are forced to be courageous in an everyday battle, humility is inevitable". To further personify Jason, "Humble courage isn't boastful or arrogant, it's a quiet inner strength.  It helps you keep your head held high when you feel like you are drowning. It helps you get to the end of a day when you feel like you can't go on. It helps you smile through the pain.  It simply, keeps you going". 

By kicking off this Annual Memorial Golf Outing, we aim to donate to some of Jason's most treasured charities. Each year (for as long as this tradition continues) we will choose a charity to be that year's recipient. Some of those notable charities include Muscular Dystrophy Association, Bridesburg Boys and Girls Club and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Pulmonary Department to name a few.
